Terms and Conditions

Please read these terms and conditions carefully before using the site or visiting our venue.

Data Protection

We process your personal data in accordance with our Privacy Policy which can be found here.

Venue Access

All ages are very welcome in the venue during the daytime, but we ask that all under 16s are accompanied by an adult at all times. The venue is age 18+ only after 7pm every day.

Unfortunately, with the equipment and noise of our live lanes, Vintners Lanes cannot accommodate dogs aside from assistance dogs.

We invite all customers to bowl in their own shoes but to protect our lanes and for your own safety, we ask that you refrain from wearing high heels and stilettos and please avoid open toed shoes.

Alcohol

We operate the ‘Challenge 25’ scheme, an industry initiative whereby our teams are trained to ask to see photo ID for any customers that they believe are 25 or under. Alcoholic beverages can only be sold and served to persons aged 18 or over. Challenge 25 scheme is in operation, that encourages anyone who is over 18, but looks under 25 to carry acceptable ID when they want to buy alcohol.

Challenge 25 is a campaign introduced by the British Beer and Pub Association in 2009. It’s now run by the Retail of Alcohol Standards Group, which represents alcohol retailers.

For more information, please visit the Wine and Spirit Trade Association (WSTA) website.
Acceptable forms of ID to prove you are over 18 include:
• A photo driving licence
• A passport
• A proof of age card, such as the PASS card from the National Proof of Age Standards scheme.

It’s a criminal offence to use false or borrowed ID to gain entry to licensed premises or to buy alcohol.

The maximum penalty is a £5,000 fine and up to 10 years in prison.

Please ensure that any of your guests who you feel may be affected by this are made aware and carry photo ID.

To fully enjoy your wines, we recommend drinking in moderation. All still wines offered by the glass are also available in a 125ml measure. 25ml measures of all spirits available on request. Vintage and ABV’s are subject to alteration.

We promote responsible consumption of alcohol and reserve the right to restrict or refuse service of alcohol to anyone who we feel is in danger of becoming intoxicated.
